Kediaman Pegawai Daerah Kuala Lipis is located on the stockade of orang kaya haji Wan Daud control the lipis river. It was built in 1929. This site was previously the residence of the administrative officer, W.C.Mitichelt. He was also the assitance of Huge Clifford.

 

The previous residence was destroyed during mass flood. The british built a new house on the site which hosts the previous building.The design remains as it until now. After 1941, Tengku Mustapha bin Tengku Mohammad, the first district officer of kuala lipis was the first Malay to live in the house. It remains to be residence of the district officer until now.
